Revitalization Amid Diaspora, Consultation Three: Explorations in World Christian Revitalization movements, from Emeth Press, Lexington, KY.

• A conference on Christian revitalization in Toronto, hosted by Tyndale Seminary, invites John H Chung and Paul S Chung to present the account of the Mosaic Cultural Ministry at Young Nak Church as a case study.

• A vision for Mosaic Cultural Ministry given during John H. Chung’s prayer after being called into ministry.

• Concrete principles, strategies, and policies for the Mosaic Cultural Ministry are developed through the research, visits, and interviews conducted regarding existing ministries, churches, and Christian fellowships in different ethnic diaspora communities around Toronto.

• Final draft of the comprehensive strategies for Mosaic Cultural Ministry completed.

2005

Jan. 1, 2005

• John H. Chung was invited to Young Nak Korean Presbyterian Church of Toronto to begin the Mosaic Cultural Ministry, partnering with church plants in Myanmar, Thai, Vietnamese, and Laos communities. Young Nak English Ministry partners with a Filipino congregation, in order to begin ministry to the community in St. Jamestown.
